Glycerol tristearate can be used as a molding agent, a polishing agent, a coating agent, and a crystallization catalyst. It is mainly used in the industries of food, soap making, and the production of stearic acid. It can also be used for metal surface treatment, adhesives, dentures, polishing agents, and the production of waterproof paper.
